Admission Rules

महत्त्वाच्या सूचना :

  1. Every Student seeking admission to the college shall satisfy himself / herself that he / she is eligible to take admission to the college affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (Herein after referred to as Board), Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati (Here-in-after referred to as University) and the class or year for which he / she is applying. For any mistake in this respect he / she himself/ herself will be entirely responsible. Every student shall take admission at his / her own risk subject to the rules for admission made by the Board / University / Govt.
  2. Every student shall make an application for admission in a prescribed form in his / her own handwriting completed in all respects and duly attested by his/ her father or legal guardian.
  3. The application for admission should be accompanied with attested copies of:
  4. School / College leaving certificate from the last institution he / she had attended.
  5. Date of birth certificate and caste certificate if he/she belongs to backward class and when the same is not mentioned in the original transfer certificate.
  6. Mark list of last examination passed.
  7. If there is a gap of one or more years between joining this college and last qualifying examination passed, then the student will have to produce a gap certificate stating that he / she did not join any institution during the period nor did he / she appear for any examination during that period.

Student from other University is required to submit migration certificate along with immigration fees Rs. 90/- for student migrating from other University in Maharashtra or Rs.140/- for s tudent s migrating from Uni ver s it y / Board out s ide Maharashtra and in case of Board, eligibility certificate along with fees Rs. 30-/. Non-compliance of this requirement will entail payment of late fee or even cancellation of the admission. Students passing SSC / HSC from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune or its Divisional Board are exempted from submitting the migration certificate.
  9. Student passing from Boards other than MS Board will have to submit the final eligibility certificate from the Amravati Divisional Board. Till then his / her admission will remain provisional and student and his / her parents / guardian will be responsible for non-issue of eligibility by the Board and Cancellation of admission.
  10. On admission, the student cannot join any other college / course simultaneously as per University Rules.
  11. Signature of the student / guardian may be verified from time to time, hence usual signature should be put to avoid future complications.
  12. All notices related to admission will be displayed on the college noticeboard only. No correspondence will be made in this regard.
  13. Admission will he made on merit basis as per the rules prescribed by the Board / University / Govt. Reservations and quotas as fixed by the Govt, will be applicable. Any attempt on the part of the candidate or a person interested in him / her to canvass with a view to solicit support for his / her admission will disqualify the student from admission to the college.
  14. The admission will be confirmed after payment of fees payable at the time of admission and submission of original transfer certificate, mark list and other documents. Before submitting original documents sufficient true copies should be retained by the student for future use. Original documents (except. T. C. & migration certificate / eligibility certificate) will be returned after verification.
  15. The last date of admission to the college is 1st August or as will be prescribed by the college /Board/ University. The College students should take admission within 10 days from the date of declaration of result.
  16. The syllabi of instructions for various courses shall be as prescribed by the University / Board. These shall be available in library or can be purchased from University/ Board.
  17. The student will not be allowed to change subjects after 14th August. The decision of the Principal shall be final in this matter.
  18. Medium of Instruction for B.Sc. (Home Science) and B.A. (Social Work) is Mararhi and for B.Sc. (Bioinformatics) and B.Com is English. However, as per University Rules student may opt for medium of answer in any of the language note Marathi /Hindi/ English wherever applicable.
  19. Student may join NCC or PT or NSS as per availlability Incentive marks for participation in NCC, NSS, Games and sports and other ECAare awarded by the University to senior college students.
  20. If may be clearly noted before taking admission in the college that no class will be opened or no subject will be taught if atleast 20 students have not offered the same.
  21. All the students who are appearing for the first time at University Examination will have to fill enrolment form along with all necessary certificates and other forms before due date. Appropriate late fee will be charged if a student fails to submit his / her form before the due date. The students already enrolled with Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University should give their Enrollment Number.
  22. Submission of AADHAR CARD is essential.
